FT LPN 4:45am-5:15pm - Skilled Nursing

Homestead Village is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to work in one of our skilled nursing households. Nurses with exceptional skills, a passion for serving older adults, and excitement for leading a small team of caregivers would be a great fit for this position.

About the role

Full-time position with a schedule designed for work/life balance: three 12-hour shifts per week (4:45 AM – 5:15 PM), including every other weekend and rotating holidays. Located at The Apostle Center for Care, a 58-bed skilled nursing facility.

Pay

Base pay starts at $28.00/hour for newly licensed nurses with less than one year of experience. Additional differentials apply:

• $1.50/hour for shifts between 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• $0.75/hour for shifts between 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• $1.25/hour for weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday)

Qualifications

• Currently licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Minimum of three years as an LPN
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• Familiarity with SNF regulations
• Ability to work cooperatively with team members and compassionately with residents
• Ability to actively direct subordinates in a professional and supportive manner
• Able to perform the essential job functions of the position

Responsibilities

• Establish respectful, warm relationships with residents and perform rounds
• Perform all aspects of resident care in accordance with nursing practices and policies
• Complete all required documentation
• Communicate readily with team members and RN Nurse Leaders
• Administer medications and perform treatments according to policy, physician’s orders, and federal & state guidelines
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition immediately
• Assist in training, supervising, and evaluating assigned staff, including orientation of new employees
• Assist with emergency response campus-wide, as needed
• Attend all required staff meetings and complete monthly education on Relias by due dates
• Conduct self in a positive and professional manner at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned
