FT Framing Manager

About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art.

Responsibilities

• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art.
• Develop and coach the team on selling behaviors.
• Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
• Achie and manage team KPIs, including sales and production workload planning.
• Manage inventory and execute shrink and safety programs as assigned.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Support interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training of new Team members; participate in Talent Development and Performance Management activities.
• Interact with MODs daily on framing and other framer expectations.
• Engage positively and respectfully, promoting organizational vision and values, and serving as a role model.
• Participate in truck un-loading and stocking processes, ensuring compliance with standards and budget.
• Follow SOPs and Company programs, maintaining a safe environment.
• Assist customers, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Support Omni-channel processes as needed.

Requirements

Basic computer skills. Previous custom framing experience preferred. Retail management experience and previous sales team leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Ability to move throughout the store, stand for long periods, lift heavy boxes and frames, and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Skills

Customer service skills, ability to lead and coach a team, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
