About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art. Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in crafting memorable framing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Coach and develop the team's selling behaviors.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time, working closely with the Store Manager.
  • Achieve and manage team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Interview, on-board, coach, observe, and train new team members; support talent development activities; participate in performance management activities of the team; utilize leadership competencies for self-development.
  • Partner with MODs daily on framing and other framer expectations.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; maintain a positive and respectful attitude, even in challenging situations; promote commitment to the organization's vision and values; project a positive image and serve as a role model for others.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and company programs to ensure a safe environment.
  • Assist with truck unloading and stocking processes to ensure compliance with standards and within budget.
  • Participate in the truck unloading and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget.

  • Assist with Omni-channel processes.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous custom framing experience preferred.
  • Retail management experience preferred.
  • Experience leading a sales team.

Qualifications

  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and frames and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
