College Recruiter (2 openings)

About the Role

Alvin Community College is seeking two College Recruiters to join our team. This position is responsible for recruiting prospective students and promoting the college's programs and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit prospective students through various outreach activities, including high school visits, college fairs, community events, and campus tours
• Develop and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and other partners
• Coordinate and participate in recruitment events and activities
• Provide information to prospective students regarding admissions, financial aid, academic programs, and student services
• Track and report recruitment data and activities
• Assist with the development of recruitment materials and communications
• Represent the college at various events and functions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Experience in recruitment, admissions, marketing, or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education recruitment or admissions
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
