About the Facility
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital recently broke ground on a new freestanding emergency room located at 12910 Boyette Road in Riverview. This 13,000-square-foot, 24/7 facility serves the rapidly growing Lithia and FishHawk communities, offering comprehensive emergency services for adults and children, including trauma bays, labs, and advanced imaging such as CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology.
The facility features a separate pediatric waiting area, triage, and dedicated bay, and expects approximately 20,000 annual patient visits. It is fully integrated with HCA Florida Brandon Regional Hospital, ensuring seamless care handoff for patients requiring inpatient admission.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to adults and children at the HCA Florida Lithia Freestanding ED.
- Utilize state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic tools, including CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology.
- Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists at HCA Florida Brandon Regional Hospital for patient admissions and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Primary Care physicians with Emergency Medicine experience will also be considered.
