About the Role

Part-time Emergency Medicine Physician position with a focus on wound management in Hempstead, NY. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities.

Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Training and a wound fellowship are provided to ensure clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management through training from highly qualified, wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Complete clinical documentation in real-time during rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
• W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship available).

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday (7 AM–4 PM), 4–5 days per week.
• Part-time: Minimum of 3 days per week (weekdays only).
• No call or weekend clinical responsibilities.

Pay

W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits. Part-time compensation is prorated based on hours worked.
