About the role
This role is for an Emergency Medicine Physician providing locum tenens support in a busy facility with an annual patient volume of over 30,000.
Responsibilities
- Cover various 10-hour shifts, including day, evening, and overnight.
- Manage emergency cases independently, utilizing Epic EMR.
- Collaborate with available backup specialties such as neurology, gastroenterology, and orthopedics.
- Maintain required certifications, including Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, and hold a California Medical License and DEA license.
Requirements
- Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician.
- Valid California Medical License and DEA registration.
- Strong emergency medicine skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Epic EMR system.
