Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items utilizing cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure adherence to high food quality standards to maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items.
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as deep-fat fryers.
  • Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
  • Responsible for portion control and serving temperatures of all fried food served in the concession stand.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

  • Show ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests.
  • Previous experience as a prep cook or line cook is highly desired.
  • Prior experience using a fryer is a plus.
  • Work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.
