Responsibilities

• Follow NbC proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision while achieving productivity goals.
• Utilize measuring instruments, commercial‑grade or handheld mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes.
• Prioritize cake pre‑orders according to schedule and frost walk‑in guest orders accordingly.
• Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintain appropriate frosting and frosted‑cake par levels.
• Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, storage, product rotation standards, and maintain frosting and refrigeration logs.
• Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
• Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure NbC standards are met and inform management of any quality‑control issues.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock workstation; ensure frosting supplies are prepared for the next shift; wash equipment in the absence of the Dishwasher/Utility Employee.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines, NbC policies, dress code, and personal hygiene standards.
• Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Understanding of basic U.S. units of measurement.
• Ability to perform repetitious tasks requiring precise, continuous movement of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Physical capacity to lift items up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work‑environment standards.

Education, Certifications, and Work Experience Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. No formal education or work experience is required, though previous experience in an operational support role at a bakery, restaurant, or food‑service environment is a plus.

Work Availability

Must have flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on changing business demands. Employees at franchised Nothing Bundt Cakes locations are employed by the franchise owner/operator, not by Nothing Bundt Cakes Corporate.
