Front Office Representative at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Seattle-Bothell (19333 N Creek Pkwy, Bothell, WA 98011). This part-time role starts at $20 per hour.
About the role
Front Desk Agents are an essential part of our customer-service team. In addition to checking guests in and out, you will help manage the overall guest experience while answering questions about the hotel and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming guests, ensuring a delightful, seamless arrival and departure.
- Greet guests and handle hotel registration and other transactions.
- Stay current on hotel accommodations, services, and local attractions.
- Address all guest compliments, comments, observations, and challenges in a timely manner to achieve full guest satisfaction.
- Record resolutions to guest complaints on the “Make it Right” log.
- Collaborate with other departments to arrange services requested by guests.
- Review and update the communication log to stay informed about hotel developments.
- Prepare end-of-shift summaries and communications for management and other shifts.
- Encourage upselling of guest accommodations and promote hotel amenities, food & beverage outlets, services, and loyalty programs.
- Make reservations in accordance with the hotel’s yield-management practices.
- Process customer credit at check-in following hotel policy and data-privacy standards.
- Answer and field all calls to the hotel, both internal and external.
- Identify and record special billing instructions and notify Accounting.
- Obtain appropriate approvals and signatures for guest transactions.
- Follow hotel policy on cash banks and maintain confidentiality of guest information.
- Create 100% guest satisfaction by delivering the Radisson experience through genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
- Provide personal attention, take personal responsibility, and use teamwork when serving guests.
- Listen, apologize with empathy, find solutions, and follow through when resolving guest problems.
- Demonstrate “Yes I Can!” genuine hospitality and teamwork consistently.
- Assume responsibility for noticing guest dissatisfaction and use best judgment to apply the 100% Guest Satisfaction policy.
- Perform other duties as required to provide service brand behavior, genuine hospitality, and 100% guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Strong customer-service experience required; previous hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in all situations.
- Solid computer skills; Opera experience preferred.
- Ability to push/pull up to 30 lbs and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to stand, stoop, or bend for an entire shift.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit.

Pay
Compensation range starts at $20 per hour.
