Responsibilities
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Aware of all rates, packages, and promotions currently offered.
- Afford knowledge of and assist in all emergency procedures as required.
- Oversee and ensure that all guests are checked in/out in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
- Perform all duties of Guest Services Agent.
- Run room status reports in a timely manner and relay necessary information to affected departments and individuals.
- Maintain hotel security by monitoring key control.
- Answer all guest inquiries in a timely and professional nature.
- Assist in training and cross training of new hires and current employees on a regular basis.
- Attend meetings/training as required by management.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of hotel/hospitality experience preferred.
- Previous hotel supervisory responsibility preferred.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Effectiveness in handling problems in the workplace; including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
- Understanding of and ability to work with financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
- Flexibility to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
