About the role

The Front Office Associate at Grand Hyatt Vail is responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This role provides a direct impact on the guest experience and involves processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Communicate hotel services and promotions to guests
  • Respond to guest inquiries and concerns
  • Handle guest payments and reservations
  • Ensure accurate and timely guest information entry
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized front desk area

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a front desk or similar role preferred
  • Interest in hotel clerk jobs
  • Positive attitude and customer service orientation

Pay

The rate of pay for this position starts at $20.00/hour, with eligibility for upsell commissions.

Schedule

Hours vary based on departmental needs and may include evenings and weekends.
