About the role
Join our team in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, where culture, comfort, and hospitality converge. As a Front Office Agent, you'll be the face of Loews Hotels, creating memorable first impressions and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
- Assign rooms that meet guest preferences and special requests.
- Obtain and verify credit and payment information in accordance with hotel policies.
- Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
- Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
- Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritizing guest and team member safety.
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
- May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
- Experience with previous Property Management System, preferred Opera System.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time required.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays as necessary/required.
