About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Front End Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the front end development strategy for one of our core product teams. You will collaborate closely with backend and mobile engineers to design and implement elegant, high-performance, and scalable user interfaces that power our marketplace platform. Your expertise will influence architecture decisions, set coding standards, and mentor junior engineers, shaping the future of healthcare staffing technology. This role offers an exciting opportunity to impact how healthcare providers and professionals interact in the digital age, ensuring seamless, accessible, and efficient user experiences. Qualifications 7+ years of professional front end development experience.At least 3+ years of deep expertise in React, including state management, animations, and Webpack.Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.Experience with modern front end frameworks; React Native experience is a plus.Proven track record in architecting and leading complex, interactive web applications.Passion for design systems, performance optimization, and delivering exceptional user experiences.Experience mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative team environment.Understanding of scalability and performance considerations across various browsers and devices.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Responsibilities Act as the technical lead for front end development within cross-functional, agile teams.Drive architecture decisions and establish code standards to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to translate requirements into accessible, performant, and engaging interfaces.Write high-quality, testable code and conduct thorough code reviews to uphold best practices.Champion the adoption of modern front end technologies, tools, and development patterns to keep the stack current and efficient.Mentor and support other engineers through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.Continuously evaluate and improve application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and overall user experience.Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions to enhance product offerings.
