About the role

The Front Desk Supervisor Program at St. Nicholas House is a key position within Project Renewal, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to building supportive communities. This role oversees a team of front desk clerks and ensures the safety, rule compliance, and day-to-day operational support for tenants and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all Front Desk Attendant duties, including monitoring security and supporting resident inquiries.
  • Oversee daily facility operations and manage emergency situations.
  • Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
  • Create and maintain the front desk staff schedule on a weekly basis.
  • Review and document incident reports to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Review the logbook each shift to ensure thorough communication and documentation.
  • Provide crisis intervention and share critical information with relevant staff and supervisors.
  • Participate in on-call coverage for the facility on a rotating basis with the Clinical Coordinator and Program Director.
  • Report directly to the Program Director and support administrative functions as needed.
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of program improvements, policies, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Administer emergency first aid/CPR/Naloxone when necessary.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director or Clinical Director.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience working with homeless or formerly homeless populations, and individuals with mental health and substance use challenges is preferred.
  • Completion of Fire Safety Training is preferred.
  • Training in De-escalation and Cultural Competency is required.
  • Opioid Overdose Prevention training is preferred.
