Overview
A Kolter Hospitality Lead Gallery Host delivers service excellence to our guests by encouraging a comfortable and welcoming environment that promotes quality service and guest satisfaction. This position is responsible for managing the front desk and food and beverage operations for the hotel.
Supervision
- Supervise front desk operations during assigned shift.
- Ensure front desk staff is familiar with hotel products and services.
- Handle all guest issues in a courteous and efficient manner ensuring problem resolution is satisfactory.
- Aid guests with check-in and check-out processes.
- Assist with setting up and servicing meeting rooms according to BEOs.
Responsibilities
- Manage Food & Beverage inventory and ordering.
- Oversight of FIFO process with Food & Beverage.
- Ensure adherence to company policies regarding financial record keeping, money handling, and licensing, including timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
- Pre-block daily arrivals of VIPs, special request rooms, and long-stay guest rooms in advance.
- Communicate with other departments to coordinate and follow up on all guest and room information.
- Report any items in need of repair.
- Follow all safety procedures while working.
