Main Responsibilities
- Supervise daily front desk operations including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest services
- Lead, coach, and support Front Office Associates to ensure service standards are consistently met
- Act as the first point of contact for guest concerns and assist with prompt, professional resolution
- Aid with scheduling, shift coverage, and ensuring proper staffing levels
- Maintain accurate cash handling, payment processing, and daily balancing procedures
- Monitor room inventory, rate changes, room assignments, and VIP arrivals
- Cover coordination with Housekeeping and Maintenance regarding room status and guest needs
- Train new front desk team members and support ongoing performance development
- Ensure front desk procedures, brand standards, and company policies are followed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment
- Communicate effectively with hotel management and all departments
- Serve as Manager on Duty as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk experience required; supervisory experience preferred
- Strong guest service and hospitality leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with basic computer systems; experience with hotel PMS preferred
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and reliable attendance
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift 35–50 lbs as needed
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
