Front Desk Supervisor
Job Overview
The Front Desk Manager works independently, without direct supervision. They possess strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills. They greet residents and check guests and service providers in/out. They understand and react to emergency response and access control procedures, monitor and operate electronic security control systems, and maintain daily logs, records, and forms.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
- Maintains and controls electronic security control systems.
- Responds to emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
- Maintains access to the building.
- Creates weekly schedules for Front Desk staff.
- Maintains daily log, records, and forms.
- Solves and follows-up on all complaints/issues.
- Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s).
- Fulfills safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
- Ensures regular attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
- Strong customer service background required.
- Two to three years of business experience in similar positions preferred.
- Computer literacy preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
- Multiple language fluency desirable.
- Advanced written communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of basic accounting/budgeting procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure, adjust to constant changes, manage multiple tasks, and coordinate the work of others.
- Excellent organizational skills and project management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conceptualize, plan, and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
- Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks using judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships.
