What You'll Do
- Support the Front Desk Manager with the daily operation of the Front Office.
- Lead and support the Front Desk team during assigned shifts, providing guidance and ensuring excellent guest service.
- Aid in guest check-in, check-out, reservations, billing, and guest inquiries.
- Assist in training, coaching, and supporting Front Desk Associates while fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Maintain oversight of front desk operations and lobby presentation to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other departments to facilitate seamless communication and efficient operations.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate complex issues to the Front Desk Manager when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Manage accurate guest records and daily front office documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel front desk experience, preferably with leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- A hands-on leader who enjoys coaching, supporting, and motivating a team.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Experience using the Medialog Property Management System (PMS) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- English required; Spanish preferred.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
