Responsibilities
- Handle front desk duties, including greeting patients, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Update patient information accurately and efficiently on multiple Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and Electronic Health Records (EHRs) systems.
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Address patient queries and concerns in a courteous and timely manner, providing assistance and information as needed.
- Maintain proficiency in English to ensure clear and effective communication with patients and staff.
- Monitor and respond to patient emails, providing information, scheduling appointments, and addressing inquiries as necessary.
- Demonstrate efficiency in navigating and using multiple EMRs and EHRs to access and update patient records.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments to optimize clinic scheduling and patient flow.
Requirements
- Proven experience in front desk duties within the US healthcare system.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with patients and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
- Experience with checking patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Proficiency in updating patient information on multiple EMRs and EHRs.
- Able to efficiently manage patient queries, emails, and appointments.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
