About the role

Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for Securitas USA clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling a variety of locations, and providing customer service. The position supports the company’s core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites.
• Provide security and safety for client property and personnel.
• Patrol a variety of locations, monitoring the premises.
• Enforce regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.

Requirements

• Security experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting/moving up to 10 lb; occasional lifting/moving up to 25 lb.

Qualifications

No prior experience required. Candidates with retail, food‑service, or hospitality backgrounds are a great fit, and training will be provided.
