Front Desk Security Officer

About the role

Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling various locations, preserving order, enforcing regulations, and providing customer service and information to employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites to ensure security and safety of property and personnel.
• Perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods and may involve climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and navigating uneven terrain.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to complete patrols.
• Strong technology skills (cell phone/computer).
• Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers/guards.
• No prior experience necessary; retail, food service, or hospitality background is a great fit; training provided.

Pay

$15.25 per hour; weekly pay.

Schedule

Schedule includes weekend hours; second or third shift (2 openings). Positions are full‑time and part‑time.
