Responsibilities: Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming mannerSchedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management softwareVerify and send medical record requestsMaintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information in EMR systemAnswer and route incoming phone calls, responding to patient inquiries in a timely mannerCoordinate referrals and prior authorizations for orthopedic and spine proceduresCommunicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow Requirements: 1+ years of front desk or patient coordinator experience in a medical or specialty practiceFamiliarity with orthopedic, spine, or musculoskeletal terminology is a plusHIPAA knowledgeProficiency with EMR/EHR systems and general office softwareStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first professional attitudeHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy environmentBilingual (English/Spanish) About Us: Vital Orthopedic & Spine Institute is a leading specialty practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL, dedicated to delivering exceptional musculoskeletal and spine care to our community.
