Front Desk Coordinator /Patient Services Specialist

About the role

This role is available at the Our Sun Valley - Laurel Canyon Blvd and Northridge-Devonian clinics. It is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with clinic hours from Tuesday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic
• Manage patient check-in and check-out
• Engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Cookordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required

Requirements

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is considered an asset
• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay

The expected starting compensation for this position is between $19.50 to $21.00 hourly, considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications. Base pay is just one component of our overall Total Rewards offering.

Schedule

The clinic operates Tuesday to Friday.
