About the role
Our San Rafael - Fourth St clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Front Desk Coordinator/Patient Services Specialist!
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
- Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
- Cookordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
- Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
- Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
- Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required
Requirements
- Previous retail experience is considered an asset
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
- A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay
The expected starting compensation for this position is between $21 to $23 hourly, considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications. Base pay is just one component of our overall Total Rewards offering.
Schedule
This position is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Tuesday to Saturday.
