Front Desk Associate - Dripping Springs

Pet Paradise is seeking Front Desk Associates with a passion for pets to welcome guests and their pets at our Dripping Springs resort.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF OUR FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE INCLUDE:

• Welcome pet parents and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a positive first interaction
• Organize and process check-ins and check-outs
• Walk pets for drop-off and pick-up, coordinating suite placement
• Answer incoming calls, emails, and respond to voicemails in a timely, problem-solving manner
• Complete cashier and POS operations
• Communicate and follow through with pet parent and resort leadership requests
• Maintain cleanliness of the entranceway and lobby, including restrooms
• Support the cat room according to resort routines
• Communicate with the veterinary service team regarding appointments and arrivals
• Take off and put on harnesses at check-in and check-out
• Ensure suites are set up for each pet
• Familiar with different types of harnesses

QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE:

• One to two years in a customer service role (Customer Service, Call Center, Receptionist)
• Detailed, but can work with a sense of urgency while providing exceptional customer service
• Cheerful, friendly, and a positive team-oriented attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail, especially where documentation is concerned
• Enjoys problem solving in order to provide our guests and customers with a premier experience
• Requires a considerable amount of physical labor, including pet handling, walking, and standing for long periods of time
• Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs
• Flexible to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times
