Front Desk Associate
About the Role
Nemacolin is seeking a professional, courteous, and outgoing Front Desk Associate to perform a variety of front desk duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to provide excellent guest service during check-in, check-out, and throughout the guest's stay. This role requires an enthusiastic personality, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining a positive attitude at all times. The associate is responsible for creating 100% guest satisfaction by building positive relationships with guests and fellow associates in accordance with Nemacolin's luxury service standards.
Responsibilities
- Create excellent guest satisfaction by providing fast and courteous service.
- Give personal attention to guests to exceed their expectations.
- Utilize empowerment to resolve guest issues.
- Assist guests at the front desk during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
- Support the butler team as needed.
- Complete the registration and departure processes.
- Ensure guests are familiar with the location of their rooms.
- Promote resort services and amenities.
- Contact returning guests to assist in planning their stay.
- Make reservations for onsite and offsite dining, activities, and entertainment.
- Remain current with property systems such as Host, SpaSoft, Seven Rooms, Zingle, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluent in English.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- General knowledge of surrounding areas and resort attractions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Associate's Degree preferred.
