Front Desk Associate
About the Role
As a Front Desk Associate, you’ll work independently without direct supervision, demonstrating strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills. You will be detail-oriented and able to multitask while meeting and greeting residents, checking guests and service providers in and out, and managing emergency response and access control procedures.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
- Monitor the Emergency Response System.
- Greet and direct residents, guests, and invitees.
- Monitor and control Electronic Security Control Systems.
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor and control access to the building.
- Maintain daily logs, records, and forms.
- Resolve and follow up on all complaints and issues.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s).
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the on-site property manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
- College-level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
- Two to three years of business experience preferred.
- Computer literacy and command of information system hardware/software preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Multiple language fluency is desirable.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
- Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
- Handle, finger, grasp, and lift objects and packages.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information verbally and in writing.
- Navigate the property/building quickly and easily to meet job functions.
- Complete all required forms.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements.
- Respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
