Front Desk Agent, Part Time 2nd Shift

Part-time, year-round position in Sandusky, Ohio. Must be 18 or older. Pay rate: $16.00/hour.

About the role

At Cedar Point, work is fun! As a Front Desk Agent at Sawmill Creek, you will provide exceptional service to all guests. You’ll contribute to an amazing guest experience by greeting every guest with a positive attitude, assisting with check-in and check-out, collecting payments, selling tickets to Cedar Point and other add-ons, and answering questions in person and over the phone. You will also learn and utilize the hotel Property Management System (Opera).

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest information, including credit card details, in a secure and confidential manner.
• Check guests into and out of the hotel, sell tickets, and answer guest questions.
• Resolve guest-related concerns in a positive and professional manner.
• Maintain open communication with other shifts and the Front Office Manager.
• Provide guest service according to Six Flags standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety Guidelines.
• Meet Six Flags attendance requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Charismatic attitude.
• Ability to learn and use the hotel Property Management System (Opera).
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older.
