Front Desk Agent

About the role

We’re looking for curious, creative, and well-informed people to join our team as a Front Desk Agent. The successful candidate will work directly with guests by checking them in and providing them with information about the services offered. The ideal candidate enjoys working with new people and is motivated to make guests feel welcome. As the first point of contact, your interaction sets the tone for the entire guest experience and can impact the brand. Your genuine warmth and helpful nature enable you to rise to every occasion, brightening someone’s day.

Responsibilities

• Provide a critical first impression to guests with a natural passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Welcome and serve guests in person and over the phone daily.
• Solve problems, use a computer to check guests in and out, and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak fluently.
• Comfortable using a computer and different software regularly.
• Position requires continuous movement and standing; occasional lifting or moving up to 20 pounds.
• Must be available to work every shift, including weekends and holidays.
• At least 1 year of hotel experience (required).
• Experience with Opera, Booking, and TripAdvisor is a plus.
