About the role

In this role, you’ll play an important part in ensuring our guests have access to delicious, freshly cut fruit and veggie platters—perfect for daily life, a get-together, or special occasion! Your ability to keep our fresh cut department stocked and ready will keep guests returning, knowing they can rely on us for their entertaining needs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels in the fresh cut department by observing sales floor and cooler conditions, producing, stocking, and replenishing products as needed.
  • Provide exceptional service by assisting guests with finding what they're looking for, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the overall cleanliness of the department by organizing and sanitizing work areas, shelving, and sales floors.
  • Ensure all quality standards are met, including maintaining accurate food safety logs and meeting quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm.
  • Maintain regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and provide adequate notice for occasional absences.
  • Support the team with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates. Utilize strong written and verbal skills to work with a crew in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safety Awareness: Thorough understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and box cutter safety.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Ability to use equipment such as power jacks, walk-behind lifts, WAVs, balers, and compactors.

  • Ability to stand in place for long periods of time, work in a cooler, and walk in the store.
  • Regular bending, stooping, and kneeling.
  • Full range of upper body motion to lift product.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods.
  • Functional sensory abilities to visually monitor the store, create attractive displays, and operate equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.

Schedule

This role may be part-time or full-time. Schedules are provided two weeks in advance for better planning and balance.
