About the role
You will operate a forklift to safely move, place, and position merchandise pallets while complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics. The role involves receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise and supplies, maintaining facility safety, and ensuring proper merchandising presentation on the sales floor.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts following company standards and guidelines to pick up, move, and position merchandise pallets safely.
- Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers, identifying priorities, and adapting to feedback.
- Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers, managing inventory flow and correcting shelf capacities.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues.
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, and processing defective goods.
- Ensure club pickup orders are filled accurately and staged according to company policies.
- Handle inventory by tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting low stock or poor practices.
- Operate and maintain forklifts safely, reporting unsafe conditions or equipment issues to management.
- Assist customers with technology services, identify shrink opportunities, and maintain equipment and product organization.

Requirements
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
