Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Operates forklifts safely, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise and pallets.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding, supporting, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
  • Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and correcting and reporting unsafe situations.
  • Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by properly zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, and ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
  • Ensures club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking club pick-up orders, staging, ensuring products are selected and staged according to company policy and procedures, and performing occasional audits for accuracy.
  • Handles moves and displays goods in a safe and correct manner, tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage in a timely manner.
  • Reports poor inventory practices and low instock levels in assigned areas, uses inventory tools and equipment in a safe and correct manner, and performs forklift operations and maintenance.
  • Proactively identifies customers needing help, actively engages them, assists with technology services, and models and helps others with technology services.
  • Identifies shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas, and takes steps to fix the problems.
  • Maintains and ensures products are organized and stocked in correct ways, and promptly fixes any problems.
  • Respects individuals by embracing differences, creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected, and attracting the best talent.
  • Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships, communicates with impact, energy, and positivity, and motivates and influences others.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience.
  • Retail Experience.
  • Supervising a team.

Additional Information

Hourly wage range: $20.00 to $28.00* (Actual hourly rate equals or exceeds the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.) Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
