Position Summary
Operates forklifts and completes work assignments by following company policies and procedures.
What you'll do...
- Operates forklifts safely and complies with company standards.
- Pick up, move, place, and position merchandise and supplies.
- Organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases.
- Maintain safety by conducting safety sweeps and following procedures for handling hazardous materials.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation according to company policies.
- Handle moves and displays goods safely and maintain inventory levels.
- Report poor inventory practices and low stock levels.
- Proactively identify and assist customers with technology services.
- Identify and fix shrink opportunities and product/service issues.
- Operate and maintain forklifts safely and report poor or unsafe conditions.
- Properly maintain equipment and ensure products are organized and stocked correctly.
- Perform occasional audits for accuracy.
- Handle moves and displays goods safely and maintain inventory levels.
- Track goods, maintain inventory levels, and control shrinkage.
- Report poor or unsafe conditions or practices.
- Assist with picking club pick-up orders, ensuring products are selected and staged according to company policy.
- Perform occasional audits for accuracy.
- Process defective merchandise following company and regulatory policies.
- Monitor the area for shrink security risks and safety.
- Ensure club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking club pick-up orders throughout the day.
- Staging ensuring products are selected and staged according to company policy and procedures.
- Ensuring Merchandising Associates pick orders within an acceptable timeframe and are staged properly.
- Perform occasional audits for accuracy.
- Handles moves and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
- Tracks goods, maintains inventory levels, and controls shrinkage in a timely manner.
- Reports poor inventory practices and low inventory levels in assigned areas.
- Uses inventory tools and equipment in a safe and correct manner.
- Forklift Operates and maintains forklifts in a safe and correct manner.
- Reports poor or unsafe conditions or practices in assigned areas.
- Tells Management when forklifts are not in proper working order.
- Technology Proactively identifies customers who need help, actively engages them, and assists them with technology services and items.
- Models and helps others with technology services.
- Identifies shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas and takes steps to fix the problem.
- Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked in the correct ways and promptly fixes any problems.

Minimum Qualifications
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

- Customer Service Experience.

Hourly Wage Range
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00*
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
