About the role
You will operate a forklift and manage inventory in a Sam’s Club facility while adhering to company policies, safety standards, and member-service expectations.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift following company standards to safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
- Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; manage inventory flow, correct shelf capacities, and complete required paperwork and logs.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, processing defective goods, and monitoring shrink and security risks.
- Ensure club pickup orders are filled by assisting with order picking, staging, and auditing for accuracy.
- Track goods, maintain in-stock levels, control shrinkage, and report poor inventory practices.
- Use inventory tools and equipment safely and correctly; report unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
- Proactively assist members with technology services and items, identify shrink opportunities, and maintain equipment and product organization.
- Embrace diversity, foster teamwork, communicate effectively, and mentor others to strengthen the team.

Requirements
- 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums may apply in specific circumstances, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
