Freight Flow Associate-4

About the role

You will operate a forklift, receive and stock merchandise, maintain the sales floor, provide member service, and ensure safety and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift following company standards to safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers, identifying priorities, and adapting to feedback.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow and correcting shelf capacities.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, and processing defective goods.
• Ensure club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking, staging, and auditing orders for accuracy.
• Handle inventory by moving and displaying goods safely, tracking stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting inventory issues.
• Operate and maintain forklifts safely, reporting unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions.
• Assist customers with technology services, identify shrink opportunities, and maintain equipment and product organization.

Requirements

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Experience supervising a team.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
