About the role

You will operate a forklift and manage inventory in a Sam’s Club facility while ensuring safety, compliance, and member service.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift following company standards to safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow, correcting shelf capacities, and completing required documentation.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, processing defective goods, and monitoring shrink and security risks.
• Ensure club pick-up orders are filled accurately and staged according to company policies.
• Handle inventory by tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting low stock or poor practices.
• Operate and maintain forklifts safely, reporting unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
• Assist customers with technology services, identify shrink opportunities, and maintain organized and stocked work areas.

Requirements

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Experience supervising a team.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
