Freelance video technicians and projectionists in NYC
iProbe Multilingual Solutions, Inc. is a New York City-based company seeking freelance Lead and Senior Video Technicians (V1/V2s) and Projection Specialists in and around NYC with live events and staging experience.
About the role
Set up, operate, and strike projectors, screens, and monitors during events at hotels, conference centers, corporate offices, and museums. Candidates must be experienced in projecting video and PowerPoint presentations and able to troubleshoot while maintaining a professional and polished image.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain projection equipment for live events and corporate AV setups
- Troubleshoot technical issues during presentations
- Interface professionally with clients and work independently
- Lift and move equipment (ability to lift 50+ lbs is a plus; accommodations available if needed)
Requirements
- Experience with live events, staging, and corporate AV
- Proficiency in projecting video and PowerPoint presentations
- Strong communication skills and client-friendly demeanor
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and/or own vehicle is a plus
- Own 1920 x 1280 laptop, cables, adapters, or other gear is a plus
Schedule
Freelance opportunities available, primarily evenings and weekends. Specific availability needed for:
- October 25 (from approx. 7 AM)
- October 26 (from approx. 3:30 PM)
- October 27 (from approx. 10 AM)
Pay
Rates based on a 10-hour day. Include your day rate and half-day rate in your application.
Dress code varies by job: business (black suit and tie) or show black.
