Freelance Presentation Designer

About The Role

This is a freelance role for the Tendem project. As a Presentation Designer, you will focus on storytelling and visual hierarchy, translating complex information into compelling, highly persuasive slides and one-pagers. You will use tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma to create polished, presentation-ready deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Design high-stakes pitch decks and professional one-pagers tailored for specific audiences
• Translate complex data into clear visual storytelling with a strong focus on minimalism and precise information hierarchy
• Elevate presentations using custom fonts, elegant animations, and perfect visual consistency
• Enforce a polished, persuasive, and premium corporate-meets-creative style across all deliverables
• Execute formatting quality standards through meticulous validation of visual alignment, pacing, and brand adherence before final delivery

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related creative fields (a plus)
• Strong portfolio featuring high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization (not just basic templates)
• Deep understanding of pacing, storytelling, and information design
• Methodical, detail-oriented approach and ability to work independently to transform complex narratives into premium visuals
• Hands-on experience creating high-end, premium corporate-meets-creative style layouts
• Strong attention to detail and absolute commitment to visual perfection
• Self-directed work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot design challenges independently
• Upper-intermediate (B2) or above English proficiency
• CV must include a link to your portfolio featuring high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization

Skills

• Presentation software: Expertise in PowerPoint, Keynote, etc., for building complex, dynamic, and perfectly animated decks
• Design tools: Deep proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Figma to create custom graphics and layouts
• Data & information design: Ability to translate complex data and multi-level hierarchical structures into clear, minimalist visual storytelling
• Typography & animation: Advanced skills in working with custom fonts and smooth, elegant animations for premium deliverables

Schedule

Tasks are estimated to require around 10-20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active.

Pay

Contributors can earn up to $50 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution. Compensation varies across projects depending on scope, complexity, and required expertise.
