FREELANCE PAID CONTENT STRATEGIST
Responsibilities
- Develop paid content strategies for Meta, Instagram, and other platforms in support of campaign launches, exhibitions, events, and editorial initiatives.
- Identify and recommend organic content for paid amplification; advise on audience targeting, geo-targeting, and segmentation.
- Build and manage monthly paid media plans, including spend allocation, flight dates, and optimization notes.
- Monitor campaign performance and deliver concise, actionable reports highlighting KPIs, learnings, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with account managers and creative team to ensure paid assets meet platform specs and brand standards.
- Stay current on algorithm and policy updates across Meta and other paid platforms relevant to cultural clients.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in paid social or digital media strategy, preferably within a creative or cultural agency context.
- Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and paid media buying models (CPM, CPC, CPA, CPE).
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting campaign data and producing clear client-facing reports.
- Familiarity with the art and culture sector; understanding of cultural audiences and institutional communication is a plus.
- Organized, communicative, and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Figma, Google Presentation, Claude, CMS platforms, Notion, or Basecamp a plus.
