About The Role

Freelance Driver Trainer (Enfield) — £150 per day, contract basis. This role, offered through Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial on behalf of PDT Fleet Training Solutions, involves delivering half-day (4-hour) and full-day coaching sessions in category B vehicles, primarily vans, at client sites. Duties include conducting on-road and classroom-based induction or upgrade courses, alongside completing precise assessment reports to deadline. Suited to instructors or assessors with previous fleet experience, the position requires a professional manner and reliable approach. Working patterns vary according to client bookings, offering flexibility across the week. This contract provides an opportunity to work with a respected provider in the sector, supporting diverse clients nationwide from an Enfield base.

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Responsibilities

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans). Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Qualifications & Skills

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
