Job Description What you’ll do You’ll assist the team with turning fraud-related data into clear, useful insights. The work may include routine reporting support, dashboard updates, fraud trend analysis, and data validation across internal reporting workflows. Support recurring fraud reporting and performance tracking for internal stakeholdersAssist with monitoring data pipelines and validating data quality in reporting outputsHelp prepare dashboards and visual summaries in Power BI or similar toolsWrite and refine SQL queries to gather, clean, and analyze dataDocument reporting logic, metric definitions, and standard operating proceduresPartner with analysts to investigate fraud patterns, exceptions, and operational trendsContribute to ad hoc analysis that supports fraud strategy decision-makingPresent findings and recommendations in a clear, business-friendly format What you’ll will learn How fraud strategy teams use data to identify risk and improve controlsHow to work with structured datasets in SQL and business intelligence toolsHow to build repeatable reporting processes and maintain documentationHow to translate analytical findings into actionable business insightsHow to collaborate with operations, strategy, and analytics partners Basic qualifications Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in analytics, data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, finance, or a related fieldStrong interest in fraud analytics, risk strategy, or financial servicesFoundational experience with SQL, Excel, or other analytical tools through coursework, projects, or prior internshipsStrong problem-solving ability and attention to detailClear written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment Preferred qualifications Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platformsExperience with Python, R, or another scripting language for analysisUnderstanding of databases, ETL/ELT concepts, or reporting workflowsCoursework or project work involving banking, payments, fraud, or risk analyticsInterest in process improvement, automation, or operational efficiency Ideal candidate profile The strongest candidates will be intellectually curious, comfortable working with data, and eager to learn how analytics supports fraud prevention. They should be proactive, organized, and able to turn questions into structured analysis with guidance from the team.
