Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth fraud analysis and investigations
- Handle customer authentication and verify identities
- Identify, manage, and prevent fraudulent activities across channels
- Review data to confirm or clear fraud cases
- Investigate fraudulent orders and identity theft trends
- Respond to fraud escalations and take necessary action
- Research findings and escalate to internal teams or legal when required
- Support and improve fraud-related processes and policies
- Participate in projects to identify issues and recommend solutions
- Take inbound calls from customers/victims regarding fraud concerns
- Handle phone calls related to fraud cases
- Use internal systems/tools to assess fraud situations
- Communicate with team via Slack
- Review documents to validate customer identity
Skills Required
- Strong English communication and conversational skills
- Good listening and tone management
- Able to multitask across multiple systems/screens
- Phone handling and typing proficiency
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (fraud, customer service, or call center)
- Experience working in a Windows-based computer environment
Pay Transparency
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $22.00 - $25.00 /hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law.
