Fraud Prevention Specialist

As a Fraud Prevention Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our ecosystem, directly impacting the security and integrity of how millions of players interact with our products. You will work at the intersection of risk analysis and operational excellence, monitoring transactions and behaviors to minimize risk and prevent fraudulent activities.
You will join a collaborative team of fraud agents based in the Manila area, working closely with our Germany-based internal fraud team to maintain a secure, high-standard experience for our global community.
Responsibilities
- Account & Payout Reviews: Deep-dive into user accounts and payout requests to identify, analyze, and take appropriate action against suspicious or fraudulent activity.
- Risk Mitigation: Continuously monitor transactions and user behavior to help prevent fraud and protect the business from potential risks.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the Team Lead and the Customer Support team to efficiently resolve fraud-related cases and tickets.
- Pattern Detection & Feedback: Identify recurring fraud trends and report key findings to help improve and optimize our internal fraud prevention processes.
- Data Integrity: Handle sensitive user data and payment information with the highest level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a relevant field such as fraud operations, payments, customer support, or back-office operations. Experience investigating user fraud within mobile games, in-app purchases (IAP), or digital reward systems is a big plus.
- Strong analytical thinking skills with a comfort level for working with data, numbers, and structured operational tasks.
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, with a proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new digital tools and processes.
- An independent, reliable, and highly organized approach to handling cases while maintaining strong collaborative communication with the team.
- A genuine interest in online platforms, digital products, and the mobile gaming industry.
Schedule
Full-time (40h/week) on rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday, between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM PHT, with 2 days off per week. Overtime hours are possible based on business needs. Working on public holidays may be required on an as-needed basis.
