Scope

The ideal Franchise Sales Consultant will identify prospective franchise purchasers, help them understand the Brightway model, qualify them, and close the sale with a signed contract. They will also help drive sales and grow the Brightway business within the Franchise Sales department.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understands the business, the profile of a successful franchisee, and our sales process
  • Identifies, works, and manages potential sources of franchisees
  • Demonstrates the ability to learn and apply the BWI value proposition
  • Initiates and executes outbound prospecting and communication strategies, focusing on captive agents and IA agent producers/owners, as well as producers in targeted geographic areas
  • Proactively makes outbound calls or sends emails to prospects to sell company's features and benefits
  • Identifies and re-engages current dormant prospect opportunities, providing timely disposition of timing considerations, focusing on states where we have a stronger market alignment and a deep understanding of the market dynamics
  • Cultivates positive relationships with current franchisees, using them as references for potential franchisees as appropriate
  • Manages ongoing workload effectively and efficiently; uses strong organizational skills, develops calendars and checklists for certain ongoing work
  • Documents activities and follow-up in appropriate systems regularly and accurately
  • Maintains process and procedure manual for the area
  • Proactively identifies process improvements that make the department more efficient and effective
  • Listens to, and incorporates, feedback
  • Works as part of a team, ensuring work done is complementary and not duplicative or conflicting

Skills, Licenses, Certifications

  • Expert in consultative selling and a proven track record of closing complex deals
  • Superior understanding of the Brightway model, how current franchisees are leveraging
  • Able to perform work with a high degree of accuracy; exceptional attention to detail
  • Superior customer service mindset; a desire and ability to deliver service that provides a high level of satisfaction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable with Salesforce and other CRM’s
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in cold calling and B2B sales
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in Insurance P&C (but not required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator; must be able to convey ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Superior independent judgment and decision-making
  • Understanding of Brightway systems; regularly updates activities accurately
  • Superior ability to manage own time, activities, and resources; models behavior for others
  • Can demonstrate Brightway values of Smart, Accountable, and Trustworthy

Education and Experience

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field and 5 years of experience in a related field. This position is a remote role, however, ideally located in Dallas, Houston, or Charlotte.
