Franchise and Distribution - Associate (Mid-Level) - Aspen/Denver
About the role
The Franchise and Distribution Practice at Greenberg Traurig seeks a Mid-Level Associate to join our Aspen or Denver office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, or licensing matters, with preferred experience in franchise matters.
Responsibilities
- Work on sophisticated transactional matters, including franchise program development, regulatory compliance, commercial agreements, international expansion strategies, and franchise-related mergers and acquisitions.
- Provide legal advice to clients across various industries and jurisdictions, focusing on franchise, licensing, and distribution networks.
- Manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and a willingness to take on significant responsibilities.
- Ensure thoroughness and accuracy in all work products, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
Requirements
- Admitted to the Colorado Bar or eligible for admission to the Colorado Bar.
- Strong academic credentials, detail-oriented, and excellent writing skills.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, or licensing matters, with preferred experience in franchise matters.
- Proven ability to handle a demanding workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.

- Competitive compensation range of $215,000 to $265,000 per year.

Pay
The expected pay range for this position is $215,000 to $265,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Schedule
Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
