About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art. Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in crafting memorable framing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Coach and develop the team's selling behaviors.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time, collaborating with the Store Manager.
  • Achieve and manage team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Support with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training of new Team members; participate in Talent Development and Performance Management activities.
  • Interact positively with colleagues and customers, maintaining a positive image and serving as a role model.
  • Engage in truck un-loading and stocking processes, ensuring compliance with standards and budget.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs, maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Communicate with customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Participate in Omni-channel processes as needed.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous custom framing experience preferred.
  • Retail management experience preferred.
  • Experience leading a sales team.

Qualifications

  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and frames and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
  • Work in public retail store settings, including evenings, weekends, and early mornings.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
