About the role
Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art. Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in crafting memorable framing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
- Coach and develop the team's selling behaviors.
- Plan and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time, collaborating with the Store Manager.
- Achieve and manage team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
- Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Support with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training of new Team members; participate in Talent Development and Performance Management activities.
- Interact positively with colleagues and customers, maintaining a positive image and serving as a role model.
- Engage in truck un-loading and stocking processes, ensuring compliance with standards and budget.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Communicate with customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
- Participate in Omni-channel processes as needed.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous custom framing experience preferred.
- Retail management experience preferred.
- Experience leading a sales team.
Qualifications
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Lifting heavy boxes and frames and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
- Work in public retail store settings, including evenings, weekends, and early mornings.
