Framing Manager

About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art.

Responsibilities

• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art.
• Develop and coach the team on selling behaviors.
• Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
• Achieve and manage team KPIs, and ensure the framing team meets their role KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload, build plans and sales floor time for networking.
• Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
• Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Support with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training of new Team members; participate in Talent Development and Performance Management activities.
• Participate in the truck un-load and stocking processes to ensure compliance with standards and budget.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to maintain a safe environment.
• Engage with customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.

Requirements

Basic computer skills. Previous custom framing experience preferred. Retail management experience and previous leadership experience in a sales team are preferred.

Qualifications

Ability to move throughout the store, stand for long periods, lift heavy boxes and frames, and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Skills

Customer service skills, ability to lead and coach a team, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with standard operating procedures.

Pay

Total Base Pay Range: $17.00 - $22.70

Schedule

Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
