Framing Manager

About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art. Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in crafting memorable framing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Coach and develop the team to sell effectively.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time, working closely with the Store Manager.
  • Achieve and manage team Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  • Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Interview, on-board, coach, observe, and train new Team members; support Talent Development activities; participate in Performance Management activities of your team; utilize leadership competencies for self-development.
  • Collaborate with MOD’s daily on framing and other tasks.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; maintain a positive attitude, even in challenging situations; promote the organization's vision and values; serve as a role model for others.
  • Participate in truck un-loading and stocking processes to ensure compliance with standards and budget.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to maintain a safe environment.
  • Engage with customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Assist with Omni-channel processes.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous custom framing experience preferred.
  • Retail management experience preferred.
  • Experience leading a sales team.

Qualifications

  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to move throughout the store and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and frames and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
