About the role
You are the strategic financial leader for each client. You will interact with and possibly oversee their internal financial team. You will interface with their leadership team and very often drive the agenda of that team. You will be supported by in-house bookkeepers, business analysts, financial analysts, and controllers. You will use typical accounting applications, FP&A tools, and Power BI. You will explore opportunities for clients to use AI to strengthen their financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Sit in on leadership meetings and shape strategic direction
- Hold teams accountable to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Drive financial results for clients
- Own the CFO relationship with clients in the $2M–$50M revenue range
- Interact with and possibly oversee internal financial team
- Interface with leadership team and drive agenda
- Use accounting applications, FP&A tools, and Power BI
- Explore opportunities for clients to use AI in financial processes
Requirements
- Proven track record as a CFO or similar role
- Experience with fractional CFO roles
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience with AI and its integration into financial processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience with law firms and/or financial services industry

$120,000 – $180,000 yearly
